Hospice and Palliative Care Fund

In 2015, the Alexandra Club, which had operated in the local community for many years, decided to dissolve. They directed $80,000 of their funds to support the establishment of a local hospice and palliative care initiative by Carefor Health & Community Services.

In addition, the Alexandra Club established a $10,000 endowment fund for hospice and palliative care. This would be a fund that would continue to grow, which would be open to public donations, and which would continue to support hospice and palliative care options in the local area.

How To Donate

Contributions to the Hospice and Palliative Care Fund can be made via the following:

1. Donate online to this fund.
2. Email the Foundation about donation questions.
3. Cheques, cash and money orders are welcomed to the Foundation office. Cheques can be made out to PPDCF - Hospice and Palliative Care. Receipts will be mailed. The mailing address for the Foundation is: Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation, 284 Pembroke Street East, Pembroke, ON K8A 6X7.
