The Sport for All Legacy Fund, totaling $375,000.00 will be distributed across three key areas:

  1. Youth Sport Grant (up to age 21): Allocating $20,000.00 annually, with grants up to $1,500.00 per request, to assist with equipment costs, travel expenses, registration fees, and more.

  2. Sports Clubs: Providing $20,000.00 annually, divided into four grants of $5,000.00 each, to support teams, clubs, and organizations with specific needs.

  3. Major Sports Infrastructure: Offering $40,000.00 annually, split into four grants of up to $10,000.00 each, for new construction or improvements to existing sports facilities. These grants aim to enhance accessibility, increase participation, improve facility quality, or introduce new sporting options.

The fund was made possible through the generosity of local businesses and individuals, who collectively contributed nearly $400,000 during the Ontario Winter Games. For more information on the application process and eligibility criteria, please visit the County of Renfrew's official website or contact the Ottawa Valley Community Foundation at foundation@givingthatgrows.com
